It doesn't seem possible that 9/11 was 4 years ago. What seems really sad is that there isn't any major notice paid to it. I think that would have been much different without Katrina. In "Honor" of 9/11, they had Lee Greenwood sing the Star Spangled Banner before the Colts/Ravens game.... The man can NOT sing that song. He sang all the words and in the right order, but some of them were so fast "Ohsaycanyou-ohsee" that it totally threw off the rhythym of the song. It ruined it for me. A well sung version of that song will make me well up every time. I much preferred the version at the minor league baseball game Gary and I went to a few weeks ago. A young man played it on the violin. The crowd sang it, but softly, almost under their breath. It was beautiful. (I'm getting misty thinking about it!)
